Accept a team invitation
The owner of an organization invites you by email. The link in that email is personal, works for 7 days, and makes you a co-owner of that organization.
- Open “You’ve been invited to join organization” and follow the link. The page shows the organization, its logo and who invited you.
- Pick the path that fits:
- New to Navigator: tick the box confirming you are 18 or older, then either Sign up with Google or enter first name, last name and a password (the email is fixed to the invited address) and choose Create account & join.
- Already have an account with that email: Sign in & accept, with Google or your password.
- Signed in as someone else: choose Sign out and continue as the invited address.
- You land on the organization’s dashboard.
You are done when
Section titled “You are done when”The organization appears in your sidebar under Organizations and the Team page lists you as Co-owner.
If something is off
Section titled “If something is off”- “This invitation isn’t valid anymore”: it was used, revoked or is older than 7 days. Ask the owner to send a new one from Team.
- Wrong email: invitations only work for the address they were sent to. Ask the owner to invite the address you use.
