What happens after I reserve
Pressing Reserve puts your booking into one of four states. The screen tells you which, and this page tells you what it means.
| What you see | State | What it needs |
|---|---|---|
| “You’re on the list, the organizer will reach out” | Pending: the organizer reviews requests before accepting | Wait. See My booking is pending |
| “You’re in” | Approved, nothing to pay | Nothing. See My booking is confirmed |
| A payment page opens and your place is held | Approved, balance due | Pay within the hold. See My booking was approved but I still owe a balance |
| “You’re on the waitlist” | Waitlisted | Wait for an invitation. See I am on the waitlist |
Which one you get
Section titled “Which one you get”- Trips that approve automatically, and any booking made with a personal invitation, go straight to approved.
- Trips that review requests go to pending, with no charge until the organizer decides.
- A closed or sold-out trip with a waitlist puts you on it.
When you are confirmed
Section titled “When you are confirmed”Approved with nothing to pay, or approved and paid, means confirmed. You receive “You’re confirmed: trip”, the trip appears in My trips, and you are added to the trip’s chat.
