Book a trip for yourself or a group

Booking takes four steps and a few minutes. You can go back to any step before you reserve, and you only pay once the organizer has approved you, or straight away on trips that approve automatically.

  • You must be 18 or older. Trips that ask for your date of birth check it.
  • The email you book with must not belong to an organizer account.
  • Have the details the organizer asks for at checkout ready. Which ones depends on the trip.

Choose a package. Greyed-out packages are sold out. Add any add-ons you want; some add-ons exclude each other and the page tells you which.

  • Booking for others too? Add each person’s first name, last name and email. They take the same package as you, and you pay for everyone.
  • Shared-room packages ask for a roommate preference.
  • Not signed in: create your account here, or sign in. See Create a traveler account while booking.
  • Signed in: you are “Booking as you”, and anything saved on your profile fills in.
  • Only the fields the organizer marked as needed at checkout appear. Required questions must be answered.
  • Notes for the organizer is optional.
  • Check every line; each has Edit.
  • These will update your traveler profile is ticked by default, so what you typed is saved for next time.
  • Discount code: enter it and the price updates. The discount is applied to your payment once your place is approved.
  • How you pay: pay in full, or a deposit now and the rest in installments, when the trip offers it. See Pay in full or by deposit.
  • The cancellation policy and the organizer’s terms are shown.
  • Tick the three boxes: Navigator’s participant terms, the organizer’s terms (or their cancellation policy), and the confirmation that you are 18 or older. See What you agree to when you book.
  • The footer shows the subtotal, the service charge and the amount due now.

Choose Reserve. What happens next depends on the trip: see What happens after I reserve.

Each person you added receives “You’ve been added to trip, complete your details” with a sign-in link. On their first visit they accept the terms themselves, then fill in their own details.
