Public or private
Every published trip is either public or private. The difference is who can find it; booking works the same way on both.

Choose at publish time
Section titled “Choose at publish time”The two buttons at the top of a draft trip are Publish Public and Publish Private.
Switch later
Section titled “Switch later”In Setup → General, the status dropdown offers Published, public and Published, private. Public to private is always allowed. Private to public needs the publishing checklist green.
Share a private trip
Section titled “Share a private trip”Once published, the top of the trip has two copy buttons: the trip page link, for people who should read first, and the checkout link, which opens booking straight away. Personal invitations are a third option: see Invite someone to book.
