Pay a balance or installment
The Payments tab of a trip shows three numbers: the trip total, what you have paid, and the balance. Everything you can do about money starts there.
Pay the balance, no plan
Section titled “Pay the balance, no plan”Pay opens a secure Stripe page in the same tab. If the trip offers a plan and you have not chosen yet, both options are shown again here. Once paid, the balance reads zero and a receipt arrives by email.
With a payment plan
Section titled “With a payment plan”Your payment plan lists the deposit, paid at booking, then each installment with its date and status: scheduled, paid, overdue, failed or cancelled.
- Installments are charged automatically to the card you used for the deposit, on the due date.
- Only the next unpaid installment has Pay now. Use it to pay early, or to retry one that failed. It charges the saved card with no extra fee.
- Pay off remaining clears the whole balance in one go with no extra fee.
Payment history
Section titled “Payment history”Every event in order: card payments, payments your organizer recorded for you (“Cash”, “Bank transfer”, “Invoice, recorded by your organizer”), discounts, refunds (“Back to your original payment method”), and charges that did not go through.
Receipts
Section titled “Receipts”One email per payment: “Payment receipt”, “Deposit received” or “Installment receipt”, with the amount, the service charge and who was paid.
