Set packages, deposits, installments and add-ons

Setup → Packages is where the offer gets its price. It has four parts: booking settings for the whole trip, the packages themselves, add-ons, and discount codes.

  • Booking deadline: after it, the trip shows as closed. Required if payment plans are on, so the last installment can land before the trip.
  • Allow payment plans: lets a traveler pay a deposit now and the rest in installments.
    • Deposit: a percentage of the package price or a fixed amount. With a fixed amount, Navigator warns you if any package costs the same or less.
    • Maximum installments: at least 2. Travelers choose any number up to it.
  • Waitlist: when the trip is full or closed, visitors see Join Waitlist instead of a dead end. See Approvals, capacity and the waitlist.

Each package is one way to take the trip, priced per person.

  • Name, price, description, photos.
  • Quantity: how many of this package you can sell. When it reaches zero the package shows as sold out.
  • Sleeping arrangement and how many people it sleeps. Shared packages ask travelers for a roommate preference at checkout.

Optional extras travelers pick at checkout or later from their trip portal.

  • Name, price, description, capacity, dates and times, location.
  • Exclusive group: add-ons in the same group cannot be bought together, for example two excursions on the same morning.

Code, a percentage or a fixed amount off, an expiry date, and how many times it can be used. Travelers enter the code on the Review step; the discount is applied once their place is approved.

The trip page shows the lowest package price as “From”, the deposit if plans are on, and every package and add-on with its details. The service charge is added at checkout and shown before they pay; it is never part of your price.
