Create a traveler account while booking

Travelers never sign up on their own. The account is created in the middle of booking, after you have picked a package and said who is coming, and the booking carries on from there.

Before you begin

  • You must be 18 or older. Everyone who books confirms this, and date of birth is checked when the trip asks for it.
  • The email you use must not belong to an organizer account.

Steps

  1. On the trip page choose Book Now and work through Package and Travelers.
  2. On Details you are asked to create your account:
    • Continue with Google, or
    • first name, last name, email, a password, and the box confirming you are 18 or older, then Create account.
    • Already have one? Switch to Sign in on the same step.
  3. Checkout continues with everything you chose kept. Fill in the details the organizer asks for and finish on Review.

You are done when

You are back on the Details step as “Booking as your name”, and after reserving you see one of the booking outcomes: see What happens after I reserve.

What happens next

If you created the account with a password, verify your email before opening your trip: see Verify your email. The trip page, checkout and the payment page work before verification; your trip portal needs it.
