Review join requests
On trips that require approval, every booking arrives as a request in the Participants tab. Nothing is charged until you decide.
- Open the trip, then Participants. The Join requests card lists who is waiting, with their package and what they entered at checkout.
- For each request choose Approve or Decline.
What the traveler receives
Section titled “What the traveler receives”| Your decision | Their situation | What they get |
|---|---|---|
| Approve | They owe a balance | “You’re approved, complete your payment” with a link to pay. Their place is held for 30 minutes once they start paying; they are confirmed when the payment lands. |
| Approve | Nothing to pay | “You’re confirmed”. They are in, and added to the trip chat. |
| Decline | “About your request to join”. Nothing was charged, so nothing is refunded. |
What you receive
Section titled “What you receive”Nothing arrives by email when a request comes in; the Participants tab and your dashboard’s action items are where you see them. When an approved traveler pays, you receive “Payment received”.
