Get your business ready to publish
Two things gate your first published trip: a complete public profile and a connected payout account. The Getting started checklist on your dashboard walks you through them in order.
The checklist
Section titled “The checklist”- Add your logo
- Tell your story: a tagline and a short bio
- Create your first trip
- Connect payouts
- Publish your organizer page
- Invite your team
Steps 1, 2 and 4 are the ones that block publishing. The others can wait.
What “profile complete” means
Section titled “What “profile complete” means”Your organizer page and every trip page show your business, so Navigator requires:
- business name
- a web address for your page (set from your business name when you registered)
- a logo or a cover image
- a bio or a tagline
- a contact email
- at least one region where you run trips
- payouts connected
Edit these under Mini Site in your organization, or from Settings → Organizations → your business. The readiness panel on your organization dashboard lists what is still missing and links to it.
Connect payouts
Section titled “Connect payouts”Navigator pays you through Stripe. Only the owner of the organization can connect it.
- Go to Settings → Organizations, open your business, and find Payment setup.
- Choose Connect Stripe. Stripe’s onboarding opens: business details, bank account, identity checks. It takes a few minutes; some countries ask for extra documents.
- When Stripe sends you back, the card shows Charges enabled. If it does not, choose Refresh status; Stripe sometimes finishes checks a little later.
- From then on, Manage on Stripe opens your Stripe dashboard for payouts, bank changes and statements.
You are done when
Section titled “You are done when”The organization dashboard’s readiness panel shows every item ticked, and the publish buttons on a trip no longer mention your organization.
