Cancellation policy and your terms

Setup → Policies holds the two things a traveler agrees to when they book: your cancellation policy and your tour terms. Both are required reading on the trip page and both are ticked at checkout.

Three tiers, applied when a traveler cancels their own place:

  1. Full refund within a short window after booking. Navigator fixes this at 24 hours for every trip.
  2. Partial refund, a percentage you set, until a date you set.
  3. No refund after that date.

The service charge is never refunded, in any tier. Payments you record outside Navigator are yours to return.

When you remove a participant, the policy does not apply: they are refunded in full. See Remove a participant.

Text, a PDF, or both. They appear on the trip page and on the Review step of checkout, where the traveler ticks a box to accept them. If you provide none, the traveler accepts your cancellation policy in that box instead.
