Statuses and troubleshooting
Navigator puts bookings, payments and trips into named states. Each page here explains one of them at the moment you see it: what it means, who has to act, and what happens next.
Guides
Section titled “Guides”- What happens after I reserve: The four outcomes of pressing Reserve, and what each one needs from you.
- My booking is pending: The organizer reviews requests on this trip. Nothing is charged until they decide.
- My booking was approved but I still owe a balance: Approved is not confirmed yet. Pay within the hold and it becomes confirmed.
- My booking is confirmed: Your place is yours. Here is what to do next.
- My booking was declined: The organizer did not accept the request. Nothing was charged.
- I am on the waitlist: You do not have a place yet. The organizer invites people from the list when places free up.
- My payment hold expired: The place went back to the pool. You can book again if the trip still has room.
- The trip is sold out or booking is closed: Your options when the Book Now button is gone.
- Why can’t I publish this trip?: The publish buttons are disabled, or publishing was refused with a list. Here is what each item means.
- Draft, public, private or archived: who can see my trip: What each trip status means for travelers, search engines and you.
- My installment is overdue or failed: A scheduled payment did not go through. Pay it from the Payments tab.
- I was removed from a trip: The organizer ended your booking. Everything you paid through Navigator comes back.
- My trip has moved to Trips wrapped: What stays available after a trip ends, and what changes two weeks later.
